CFAP777 | Master of Science in Heritage and Conservation Management

Master of Sciences in Heritage and Conservation Management is a three-semester academic degree. This programme started in 2006. The program curriculum is designed directly to reflect the heritage and conservation practice in Malaysia. You will acquire sufficient knowledge in all basic fields of conservation and management of heritage sites.

Candidates need to complete a total of 40 credit hours of coursework. The total credit hours include program core and specialization courses (31 credit hours), research project (6 credit hours) and elective courses (3 credit hours).

 

Admission and Entry Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Built Environment or relevant field from UiTM or any Institution of HigherLearning recognised by the Senate of UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75; or
  2. A Bachelor’s Degree (Hons.) from UiTM or any Institutions of Higher Learning recognized by the UiTM Senate with CGPA 2.75 with at least one year working experience; or
  3. Candidates with Bachelor Degree (Hons.) with a minimum of CGPA 2.50 with at least three (3) years working experience in relevant field
  4. APEL candidate, pass APEL (Aptitude test and Portfolio Assessment). At least five (5) years working experiences in relevant field
  5. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields and/or relevant working experience with minimum CGPA based on (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) must undergo and pass the prerequisite courses offered by the faculty before enrolling in the program.
