Assalamualaikum wbt and greetings to all.
The first half of the year 2020 is the most challenging for the whole world. COVID-19 Pandemic presents challenges to every sector of the economy, including the Malaysian education system. Open & Distance Learning (ODL) study system becomes a new normal for students and lecturers. Thus, I would like to congratulate all lecturers and students who are very committed to ensure this semester learning session to continue as smoothly as possible. Appreciation also goes to administration staff who always ensures that the faculty remains functioning even they need to work from home.
Early this year, our university has embarked on a five-year strategic plan, known as UiTM2025, which strives to transform the university into a Globally Renowned University. UiTM2025 is a five- year (2020-2025) framework document which will outline our university’s transformation plan as it aims to become a leading global university of science, technology, humanities, and entrepreneurship by 2025. With the motto ‘Unleashing Potentials, Shaping the Future’ it should motivate all of us at KAB to strive to realize our true potentials. KAB is committed to supporting the UiTM2025 plan with KAB 2019-2022 Initiative Plan which was launched in 2019. The two strategic initiatives would propel both KAB and UiTM to a greater height.
