- What is NUDA2025?
NUDA2025 is an abbreviation for the National Urban Design Award event organised by PEREKABANDAR. In 2025, the host organised the award for the second time, with the involvement of the College of Built Environment, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in collaboration with Universiti Malaya and Taylor’s University. This prestigious event is your platform to showcase transformative ideas shaping Malaysian cities’ future. - What is the theme for NUDA2025?
Innovative Urban Design: Empowering Innovative Culture in Characterising Malaysian Urban Fabric. - Is there an age limit for being considered a student?
No. - May I submit one entry for multiple categories?
ONE entry per category. - “Participants may enter in groups of up to four (4) members with a Lecturer”. What does NUDA2025 mean by that?
One (1) team has a maximum of four (4) members, EXCLUDING the Lecturer/Supervisor. - Is there a limit to how many teams an individual can register as the Supervisor for? For example, can one person register as the Supervisor for 10 different entries?
There are no limits on the number of entries a Lecturer/Supervisor can supervise in the competition. - For Category 4A (Published Journal Article), can we submit papers published previously, or do we need to submit a new paper?
Participants can submit any published work from conferences or journals, including journal articles, conference proceedings, books, magazines, newspapers, and digital platforms (e.g., blogs or websites). - Am I eligible to submit my project completed during my studies even though I have graduated and am now working?
Yes. - Are international students allowed to register for the competition? Do they have to be projects in Malaysia?
Yes, both international and Malaysian students enrolled in a local university with a project based in Malaysia are eligible to participate. - What should I do if I wish to modify my registration, such as changing the category?
Participants are advised to submit a new registration form with the updated category or team members. The committee will then cancel the previous registration. Participants should also re-upload the same bank transaction receipt for the competition fee.
